There have been large tech companies that have failed, and a few more that are on the Evernote stagnation path. You'll have to define "big tech", and "cool" to get a good answer to that. I use both apps in different contexts - Logseq for work notes, Obsidian as a personal wiki - because they both have different strengths. They also have an excellent canvas feature, something that is IMO sorely missing in Logseq. They also heavily rely on their rich plugin ecosystem. Your organize your stuff how you see fit. It can't really work as an outliner, and is not opinionated at all. Obsidian is truly a note taking app, their base unit of information are pages. Its kinda weird to explain, but it works well if you get their workflow. ![]() Each dedicated page, even when empty, will then display those linked/tagged blocks and all their descendants. Their UI is built around that, and they heavily nudge users to just dump data in daily notes with links and tags. Logseq is an outliner - each line is a bullet point, a "block", and blocks are their base unit of information. They have different goals and means to achieve them, and while there's certainly an overlap of features and users, they truly can't be called equivalent. Deleting it on you other device should make it disappear on the phone as well.Logseq and Obsidian are quite different. Now, creating a new note on the phone should make it appear on your other device. Once they are there, launch FSNotes and you should see it find the new notes. Now you should see files appearing in Files.app / iCloud Drive / FSNotes. open it again / click on your name on the top / iCloud and check FSNotes back on again.on that same screen, uncheck FSNotes, go back and close the Settings app.go to the Settings app / click on your name on the top / iCloud and ensure you have space left on your iCloud account.check out you have enough storage, go to the Settings app / General / iPhone Storage and ensure you have at least a few gigabytes of free space available - otherwise the phone might not want to synchronize new files at all until there's more space available. ![]() to synchronize over cellular, go to the Settings app / Mobile Data and ensure "iCloud Drive" is enabled.ensure you're successfully connected to a wifi network.don't turn FSNotes on yet, first do the other steps.If they're saying "Waiting." or some files are missing, or the entire directory is empty, or it's not there at all, this usually means your phone has some issues with synchronization which is either due to Internet connectivity or low space on device. If you're seeing them, that means FSNotes successfully saved them. If you're creating notes on the phone, find the respective files through the Files.app's "iCloud Drive" location. go to System Preferences / Internet Accounts / iCloud / iCloud Drive "Options.".If you don't see them there, this means there's some synchronization issue on your Mac. If yes, that means they synchronized out of your Mac successfully and the problem is on the receiver end. Now, log in to, navigate to Files / FSNotes and find if the files are there, too. If you're creating notes on the Mac, find the respective files through Finder's "iCloud Drive" location. Let's go through a couple of things you can try. Other notes apps deal with those problems as well. If for any reason you find that your edits on one device don't appear on the other, this is usually an issue with iCloud Drive sync service on one of your devices. You should start seeing your notes synchronize between your iOS and Mac devices automatically. To do it, find "Default storage" in Preferences / General. You can use this directory as your default storage location on the Mac. You can find the same location on macOS, selecting "iCloud Drive" in Finder and finding the same FSNotes directory there. You can find it using the Files.app: in Browse select the "iCloud Drive" location, you should see an FSNotes directory with all files in it. ![]() ![]() FSNotes automatically uses iCloud Drive on iOS, using a dedicated FSNotes directory on it.
